The age of online workouts
It should not be new to anyone that working out from home is a huge part of life since COVID-19 kinda took away the idea of going to the gym and well leaving your house for that matter. Working out has become part of my new routine while stuck at home. It has been an escape for one short hour from the rest of my family that is cooped up inside, unless I workout with my sister and then we can motivate each other which has proven to be very helpful. I have never been the biggest gym person and at school I rarely find the time or the energy to work out on my own. However, these new online workouts have really kept me engaged and inspired.
It is a crazy concept that someone from the other side of my computer can really push me and my workout ends in me sweating more than when I go to the gym. I love it. I am also beyond lucky and grateful to live in a space that I can go outside and workout in the sun (when it decides to show up). I take my computer, my yoga mat, and some weights out onto my deck and I let a video of someone tell me what to do and I feel really great after. So since I now think I am this workout guru, here are my current favorite online workouts:
Corepower Yoga On Demand
The Sculpt Society by Megan Roup
Melissa Wood Health

Quarantine is definitely a rough time for everyone, but taking an hour out of your day to sweat a little and get your body moving could make that much of a difference in your mood. I know that it has helped me stay motivated, in a solid routine, and feeling good each time I get through a workout.
